2009 Memorial Prayer
"Have you ever wished upon a fallen star"
Tonight it is time to remember. Remember what? Remember them!
The whole scene was like an episode right out of the ER television show.
The medical wagons bgean pulling in years ago. The patients, one after
another delivered by wagon to their death sentence. Crucifixion by brain
tumor. Each one, a bright bright face in so many families. One by
one
they were picked out of the night or day and taken for their picture with
a machine. The machine became their own TV drama. The machine recorded
their condition, the grays, blacks and whites of their brains. The doctors
recorded the so-called colors in between.
But only us, only angels, only God......could see their sunny souls.
Ahhhhhh, angel, to have such energy and love in our midst..... and then have
to watch tumors, treatments and steroids suck the life and ability out of them. Just
another horror movie; except this one starred us.
Pray for us this night; we remember.
I am listening to a sad, sorrowful but full electric blues anthem as it cascades
from the top down 16 bars to the bottom. The tune is measured and allows
a good cry to follow its wail. My heart is open and my wounds are there
for all to see tonight. Broken bodies, broken hearts, broken.
As the notes fall tonight, the closest angel is paralysed in flight over head
and she falls like a rock onto the back of the houseboat hitting with a thud
as she comes down hard. Got to be careful, when you decide to wish upon
a fallen star.
That thud is what happened to us, when our beautiful beloved fell from
this life into death. Our hearts hit a thud. Brick wall. Hurt
so bad.
But that was then, and this is now. Tonight we want to wish upon our fallen
stars and send them our love, so we can receive their hope. They are the
fallen, we are the left behind. We wish for them to be safe and full of
new life. New energy. Not of the flesh, but of their own free spirits. Able
to fly throughout the universe, to visit ancient lands.
To only be with the positivity of hope and love, safety and amazement.
Why not?

Looking back from Shangrila, 2009
Many people throughout
the ages have spoken of great visions instead of catastrophe or armageddon. It
is to that bent, we bend our knees tonight.
We want to wish our fallen stars unlimited life with ways of experiencing that
only angels knew before. We want them to be the ones who will be waiting
for us when we meekly and frightened come to our conclusion here on earth. Better
yet, we wish to be lifted up in love with signs and visions of the greatness
of eternity; not afraid, not wanting, just ready.
We seek the good things left in this life to experience unhindered.
And we know that the love of our children, spouses, parents and every relation......can
lift the dagger of out of our hearts. Angels in Heaven,
carry the wish of us all to our fallen stars, that we might know they are not
fallen, only changed. Tell them we love and miss them terribly.
Get up fallen angel and take our wish and prayer with you.
Oh how we miss them.
God bless our stars
Love
George
