Dear Family

Some spring musings flowing through my mind on this
calm, sunny day.....

Believe in Life
Eric Clapton, Reptile

When the world has seen the night
and the beginning of the day
You will hear me call your name
because I love you more than life
And it will always be this way
as long as I believe in life

When the morning comes too soon
and I am still without your love
You will hear me call your name
because I love you more than life
And it will always be this way
as long as I believe in life

Whatever happened to the girls
I used to know
Whatever happened to the places
that we used to go
When we were running in and out of time
but all the time we still believed in life
We were running in and out of time
but we still believed in life

And when the day is almost done
and there is nothing left to say
You will hear me call your name
because I love you more than life
And it will always be this way
as long as I believe in life

humming do, do, do, do, do....do,do

And when the day is almost done
and there is nothing left to say
You will hear me call your name
because I love you more than life
And it will always be this way
as long as I believe.......
as long as you believe.....
as long as I believe that you believe...
then I will believe in life

as long as I believe that you believe...
then I'll believe.........I'll believe in life

I believe
I believe in life
I believe
I belive in life
I believe
I believe in life
I believe
I belive in life

I believe..........in life

Eric Clapton

My hero sings of so much that I believe. Eric Clapton
was just my favorite guitarist from the late 60's
until the late 90's........but the day his boy Conor
fell from that 54-story window and died........and
Eric wrote Tears from Heaven and the Circus has left
Town........and he revealed how he had run down the
streets of New York after hearing the news.....but had
to walk on by the apartment building because he could
not face the death of his child in the light of all
the media...........I found my hero in life.

His music ever since that fateful day has been filled
with love, longing, faith and, yes.......so much loss
and pain.......his world was broken down......but he
still believes in life.

We all just have to work so hard to find our way.
So many tears we have to cry to find our peace. And
so many more, to find our joy.......it's different...
joy without innocence is a sadder cousin to the one we
all had known before.......yet, we got to find
ourselves......cause we'll be lonely until we do.
